Lions are lazy by Olven

I had a lot of fun with this sketch. Sometimes I like to RP and it's really inspiring. This idea comes from a RP. I'm going to work on a colored version.

Medium: graphite pencil
Tags:
Magpie by Zetallis

Here's something kinda different. A digital painting I did for a class. It's a magpie.. um that's it really >.>; I attempted realism but then got bored, tired and gave up lol. Heavy use of references though sadly I don't know where they came from.. it was an old file I found on my comp from ages ago. Done in photoshop.

Medium: Digital
Tags: Magpie
Jaguar Tattoo by Kacey

A tattoo design of an Aztec were-jaguar... the ground surface is both tiles, and also skin - hence the blood...

Done for a guy who is going to get it tattooed on his bicep - I'm looking forward to seeing pics of it when he gets it done =).

Done in inks and acrylic paints on 9"x12" illustration board.

Medium: inks, acrylics
Tags: Aztec water Jaguar tattoo were blood lilies
Savannah and GK by EbonyTigress

I'm very pleased with how this has turned out. I had to find several references for the Greater Kudu, and then decided to look up lionesses to get an idea of how I wanted to lay her colors down. In the end I learned a bit about hips and hocks that I hadn't quite grasped before. Learning is wonderful.

Medium: Prismacolor Pencils
Tags: lion Greater Kudu lioness
